Write down a simple list of things that you love, that the world needs, that you are good at and that can be paid for. The intersection of all these can form your Ikigai.

Ikigai, literally means a reason for being. It is a Japanese concept for something that gives a person a sense of purpose, a reason for living.

The term is a compound of two Japanese words: iki (生き), meaning "life" and kai (甲斐) meaning a reason.
